For local authorities & funders
A specialist, evidence-generating provider filling the gap below statutory short-breaks thresholds — and building a genuinely different kind of day opportunity.
The gap we fill
The families who haven't reached the door
A significant number of families are living with genuine, daily-impact additional needs that sit below the threshold most short-breaks provision is designed around. The Ville Collective exists specifically for that gap — not to replace statutory short breaks, but to reach the families who haven't yet reached the door.
A second, less visible gap
Where day support stalls at occupation
Even where day support exists, it often stalls at occupation rather than development. Our wider Ville Model is designed to address this directly — reducing social isolation, increasing meaningful community participation, developing skills and independence, and creating pathways into volunteering and employment, not just filling time safely.
What makes us different
Outcome data built in from day one
- Every respite session logs structured outcome data — curated trip details, risk-assessment plans for domestic and international trips, hours delivered, school-contact frequency, wellbeing tracking, and validated parent/carer wellbeing measures (WEMWBS or AC-QoL).
- As a CIC, our asset lock guarantees reinvestment in service, not private profit.
- Our founder's background in AI, data science and frontline care means outcome reporting is built in from day one, not bolted on for a funding bid.
- Our wider day-opportunity model tracks a genuinely richer set of outcomes — new skills, new interests discovered, independence gained, and progression through structured levels — not just attendance.
