Who we help
Families of children and young people with autism and related additional needs — and, increasingly, adults whose interests have never been given room to grow.
We support families of children and young people with autism and related additional needs — including ADHD, sensory processing differences, and other developmental or communication needs — through our companion-support service, day service and respite.
The group the system often misses. Children whose needs seriously disrupt daily life — disrupted sleep, frequent school contact, high support needs at home — but who haven't been awarded an Education, Health and Care Plan, a qualifying rate of Disability Living Allowance, or another route into funded support. If that's your family, you are exactly who we exist for.
Building towards this
And who we're building the Ville Model for
Alongside this, we're building something for a group we've come to know well over years of frontline support: children and adults with learning disabilities whose interests never get the chance to become more than an activity. Teenagers who love cars but are still handed toy cars. Adults who've spent years in day services doing the same colouring, painting or trampoline time, when what they actually want is something to be good at.
This part of our work is aimed at children approaching adulthood and adults of any age with a learning disability, whoever they currently receive support from.
A note on what we don't ask
We don't ask for a diagnosis before we'll talk to you. We don't ask what funding you have before we'll explain your options. We ask what your week actually looks like — or what your child, or the adult you support, actually loves — and go from there.
