The Ville Collective

Partner with us

The Ville Model doesn't need us to own everything — it needs the right partners. If your organisation has a space, a skill, some equipment, or just a couple of hours a month, there's very likely a way to be part of this.

Businesses & local organisations

A garage, a workshop, a kitchen, a studio

We're looking for organisations willing to give our participants a real experience of what they do. This is not a request to become a specialist disability provider — it's a request for a small, specific thing.

Our own support workers do the work of making the experience accessible to each person. You don't need to become a learning-disability specialist to take part. We'll ask what you're comfortable offering, and build around that.

  • A couple of hours, once a month, to show a small group around and talk about what you do.
  • A short demonstration of a skill or piece of equipment.
  • The occasional donation of materials or off-cuts we could reuse in a project.
  • A member of staff willing to volunteer occasionally.

Universities

We're not looking for volunteers to babysit — we're looking for a genuine collaboration. We have a real, specific design and engineering problem: how do you build accessible, modular learning equipment (like a car that can be built from large, safe, well-labelled parts) for people with a wide range of abilities?

If your department works in design, engineering, product design, computing, psychology, education or health and social care, we'd like to talk about a small, defined pilot — not an open-ended commitment.

Schools & colleges

We want relationships that work both ways: we can bring elements of our programme into your setting, and your learners can come to us. If you have students approaching the transition from school to adult life, this is often exactly the point where an interest like this can make the biggest difference.

The council

We're looking for a conversation about space — specifically, whether there's an underused council-owned or community building that could become home to our first pilot Lab. This isn't a request to fund the whole organisation. It's a request to explore what's available.
